While the DMR116 is mains-powered out of the box, it also supports cordless operation using Makita 7.2V–18V Li-ion batteries (not CXT or XGT). It includes an AUX input to connect your external audio devices and boasts twin 3.5W speakers for crisp, clear sound with deep bass. Designed for convenience, durability, and consistent performance wherever you go.
