The Makita DCS552Z is a specialist cordless metal cutting saw, designed for fast, clean, and burr-free cutting of metal materials such as steel, aluminium, conduit, pipe, and unistrut. Powered by the Makita 18V LXT battery platform, it delivers high-performance cutting with full site mobility—no mains cable or hot sparks.


Fitted with a 136mm cold-cutting TCT blade, this saw provides minimal heat transfer and virtually no sparks, making it ideal for on-site electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general metal fabrication work. The dust collection box helps to keep the work area clean, while the electric brake, ergonomic grip, and base window ensure safe and accurate operation.
